Hi, it’s Gabe here!
Every January, we close our shop right after New Year’s weekend to take a much-needed breather.
It’s our chance to recharge, reflect, and prep for the busy months ahead.
This year was a little different for me.
I stayed home for the break.
No traveling, no hustle, just some quality time with my favorite beings.
My aging dog got the royal treatment with lots of lazy naps.
My kid joined a bowling league, and let me just say as someone who bowls regularly, the kid's got the spirit!
Oh, and for the first time in what feels like forever, I dodged the January trifecta of doom: Covid, the flu, and whatever that mysterious sicknesses is that hits people this time of year.
Not me, not now!
For the first time in years, I’m kicking off January feeling healthy, inspired, and ready to get back to the shop.
Life moves fast, and it’s easy to get swept up in the grind.
But stepping back, even just for a few weeks, reminds me why I do this.
It’s not just about candles or workshops; it’s about creating something meaningful, something worth embracing.
Studio News: Our "Open Concept" Makeover
Speaking of meaningful, we’ve been hard at work making some big changes in our workshop area!
Over the break, we decided it was time to embrace the "open concept" vibe.
Let’s face it, nothing says creativity like a clean, functional space.
We added sleek new shelves to the walls, better to display our fragrance collection.
I’ve also been building furniture like it’s my full-time gig.
It’s become a running joke around here that I keep a screwdriver in my back pocket at all times.
And don’t even get me started on hex wrenches.
The new setup is designed ttoallow us to offer more with plenty of room to create, connect, and, most importantly, make memories.
We can’t wait to see you in our revamped space, it’s truly a labor of love.
